Very Brief Re-cap of the 2009 BET Awards

Here's my thoughts on The 2009 BET Awards.

I thought New Edition was an excellent choice to open the 2009 BET Awards until I heard them sing, it was awful,I did however love the choreography.I was very impressed with Ne'Yo performances and outfits. I didn't like Beyonce performance AT ALL! And what was up with Ving Rhames ?, I really think he was drunk.I Loved the tribute to the O'Jays, you could tell alot of time was put into that tribute. Travis Barker turned it out, he's one of the best drummers of our generation. I REALLY REALLY hated the way Jamie Foxx was self-promoting himself. This was a tribute to Michael not to him.I loved Jay-z's performance and hated Lil Wayne's,well I really don't like Lil Wayne so his bad performance was no surprise to me. I thought Ciara sounded nice and I liked Keyshia Cole and Monica's performance. I had made it through the Awards show tear-free until Janet Jackson came out, and that's when I LOST IT! I really respect what BET tried to do and for that they get a thumbs-up, but I really thought it could have been better.
